Big Mac and Little Lu were born and raised in South Florida and the Florida Keys. A typical weekend was spent chasing tuna off alligator light or backcountry fishing with Capt. Dave Sisson.
A typical holiday was spent eating flying fish on the beaches of Barbados or chasing goats around the island of Anquilla... But the ocean was never very far away.
Fast forward a few years and diving, fishing, lobstering would be replaced by skiing, hiking and of course fly fishing.
Problem was Big Mac& Little Lu couldn't find fresh seafood in any direction. On a family vacation driving south on US1 down the 18 mile stretch, Big Mac & Little Lu's seafood was born. Instead of fishing with Capt. Dave, they would meet with all the boat captains from Miami to Key West and personally choose the fishermen that would supply the market with the freshest of the fresh fish.
